Our photography tours take you to Vancouver Island gems which beg to be photographed. With basic instruction and guidance in technical and composition, you are sure to get the shot you want. Choose an easy walking or a hiking photography tour.
Pacific Rainforest Adventure Tours’s photography guide will guide you to “best kept secret places” for exceptional photo opportunities in our wonderland of beaches, forests, wildlife, wildflowers, waterfalls and amazing sunsets from spectacular viewpoints.
Deanna Veerman, your professional photographer tour guide says; “I specialize each tour by asking what your photographic challenges are, and have us practice them throughout the hike. This way you overcome them and can use it to enhance you creativity. I have everyone shoot in Manual Mode, which gives you the tools to capture the image just as your mind sees it. Some things we go over during a tour are:
-Aperture, Shutter Speed, ISO
-Use of Flash with Diffuser
-Landscape and nature photography
-Long exposure photography”

Comments from Nov. 30, 2016 Tour
The tour was fantastic! Damian and I had such a good time and Deanna was so great!
The tour itself was so good, I loved the walk and the views were amazing. Damian and I will definitely be going again.
Deanna was so helpful and patient, providing both Damian and I the opportunity to try things out with the camera. She is so knowledgeable and down to earth, it truly was a great experience.
Damian and I really enjoyed ourselves and are hoping we can get another tour in next summer.
Thank you for all your help in arranging this and being patient with our annoying schedules
I’ve attached some pictures for you…
