Forest of
Cathedral Grove (MacMillan Park) has Douglas Firs 247 feet tall and 9 feet in diameter.
The BC Big Tree Registry records the largest trees in B.C. The Sitka Spruce recorded by Gary Murdock in the
Little Qualicum River floodplain is the tallest on the East side of Vancouver Island and the fourth tallest in B.C.
